Welcome to New Brighton Beach! Whether you're a local or visiting for the first time, this guide will help you make the most out of your trip.
Getting Here
New Brighton is highly accessible by train, bus, or car.
If you are coming by car, we recommend arriving early during the summer months to secure a spot at the Marine Promenade or Fort Perch Rock car parks. You can find detailed parking information on our Parking Page.
Things to Do
- Walk the Promenade: Enjoy a 3-mile unbroken stretch with views over the Mersey to Liverpool.
- Visit Fort Perch Rock: Explore the historic coastal defense battery.
- Grab an Ice Cream: Numerous kiosks and cafes line the front.
Dog Walking
New Brighton is a fantastic place for dogs! However, please pay attention to the seasonal dog bans on certain parts of the beach between May 1st and September 30th. Check out our Dog Rules for a complete map.
Where to Eat
There are plenty of fantastic dining options. From classic fish and chips to modern bistros in the Marine Point development, you won't go hungry.
Tip: If you want a great view of the sunset, head towards the restaurants near the lighthouse!
Enjoy your visit!
